The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Special Education Teacher for our High School 12:1:1 Self-Contained Transitions Program. This is a Long-Term Substitute position with an estimated assignment from March 10, 2025, to June 2, 2025. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide primary instruction in functional career development and occupational skills.

Support students in work based learning opportunities in the community.

Create an inclusive learning environment that supports student independence and community integration.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide tailored instruction to meet students’ unique needs.
