Job Overview:The Food Service/School Bus Monitor will be responsible for assisting the food service operations and ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation. This dual role requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a positive experience for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Service Duties:
- Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling.
- Support dietary needs and accommodate special requests.
School Bus Monitoring Duties:
- Supervise students during transit to ensure safety and order.
- Assist with loading and unloading students safely.
- Monitor student behavior and address any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and bus drivers
- Verify student use of seat belts and assist with securing or removing belts
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in food service or working with children is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in various situations.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred.
