Position Overview:
The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Substitute Cleaners.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment in school buildings
- Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Emptying trash receptacles and replenishing supplies
- Assisting with setup and cleanup for school events as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduation from High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma; OR
- Three months of building cleaning experience; OR
- Successful completion of a job training or job readiness program
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
