Music Teacher — 1.0 FTE, Probationary
Location: O’Rourke Middle School
The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Vocal Music Teacher to join our Fine Arts Department. This position includes teaching choral ensembles and general music classes at the middle school level.
The ideal candidate will foster a love of music through engaging lessons and rehearsals while emphasizing traditional vocal techniques to build strong foundational skills in music instruction. Additionally, we are seeking an individual who is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment and who collaborates effectively with faculty, parents, and administration to support student achievement in the arts.
Qualifications:
- K–12 Music Education certification required
- Strong vocal music background required
- Proficient piano skills for classroom accompaniment
