The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a motivated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young learners and a strong understanding of child development, along with a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective, standards-based instruction that meets the diverse needs of all learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to support individual growth
- Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages engagement, collaboration, and respect
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional practices
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional effectiveness
