Building Substitute Teacher – Charlton Heights Elementary
Charlton Heights Elementary is seeking a dedicated and flexible Building Substitute Teacher to provide consistent instructional support throughout the school building. This position is responsible for supporting classrooms by providing instructional and teaching assistant coverage as needed.
The Building Substitute will maintain a positive and productive learning environment, implement lesson plans left by the classroom teacher when applicable, supervise students, and collaborate with administrators and staff to ensure continuity of instruction and daily school operations.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Teaching Certification is required.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of grade levels and classroom settings.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
