Reading Teacher - Elementary Summer School

About the Position

We're seeking a culturally responsive, passionate and dedicated Reading Teacher to join our Elementary Summer School Program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on students' academic progress during the summer months.

Program Details

• Dates: July 2 - July 29 (No school on July 4 for Independence Day) 

• Additional: One work day prior to program start for classroom setup and planning

Requirements

• Valid New York State Reading Teacher Certification

• Experience supporting elementary students' literacy development

• Strong skills in reading assessment and instruction

• Ability to implement evidence-based reading interventions

• Experience working with diverse learning needs
