Part-Time School Nurse (RN) - District Wide
Schedule: 100 days per school year
The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a caring, organized, and student-centered Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Part-Time School Nurse District Wide. This position plays an important role in supporting the health, wellness, and safety of students and staff within the school environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing and responding to student health concerns and emergencies
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintaining accurate student health records and documentation
- Monitoring immunization compliance and health requirements
- Collaborating with administrators, teachers, counselors, and families regarding student health needs
- Supporting health education and wellness initiatives within the school setting
- Ensuring compliance with New York State regulations and district policies
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current CPR/AED certification preferred
- Previous pediatric, school, or community health experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
This is a part-time position scheduled for 100 workdays during the school year calendar.
