Special Education Teacher (3 Positions) – 0.7 FTE
2026-2027 School Year

The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following Special Education Teacher positions for the 2026-2027 school year:

• 1 – 0.7 FTE Special Education Teacher – Pashley Elementary School
• 1 – 0.7 FTE Special Education Teacher – Charlton Heights Elementary School
• 1 – 0.7 FTE Special Education Teacher – Stevens Elementary School

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements.
• Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and other required professional activities.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and student-centered learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Certification in Special Education required.
• Elementary-level special education experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
