Position Overview:
Pashley Elementary School is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated Special Services team. The successful candidate will provide speech and language services to K–5 students, working closely with educators, support staff, and families to help students reach their full communication potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group speech/language therapy to students in a self-contained program for children with autism and related disabilities in grades K–5.
- Conduct evaluations for students with communication needs, including reevaluations and support for Assistive Technology.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the Committee on Special Education (CSE).
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with special education teachers to support speech and language development
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support strategies.

Preferred:
- Experience in school-based settings and familiarity with IEP development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for articulation, language, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and working with students with Autism.
- Licensure with ASHA CCC-SLP
