School Psychologist | | School Psychologist The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a School Psychologist dedicated to supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth of our students. This position requires the application of problem-solving techniques, the administration and interpretation of assessments, the use of data to guide decisions, and the implementation of evidence-based interventions. The School Psychologist will collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to foster safe, positive, and inclusive learning environments for all students. Key Responsibilities: -
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address the academic and social-emotional needs of students. -
Administer comprehensive student assessments, including initial and re-evaluations (psychoeducational evaluations). -
Serve as a Sub-Committee on Special Education (CSE) Chairperson for assigned school buildings. -
Actively participate in and co-facilitate the building-level Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Team. -
Administer behavioral screenings, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in collaboration with social workers and teachers. -
Provide necessary information to external providers and agencies as requested. Skills and Competencies: -

Proficiency in assessing students' psychological and educational needs using a variety of methods and tools. -
